Claire, who was raised in Donegal Ireland, worked as a designer in the fashion industry in Paris, Brussels, Stockholm and London before re-locating to Florida in 2006. There she has returned to painting full time and exhibits her work currently in Jacksonville and St Augustine, Fl.

Claire paints landscape, still life and figure paintings. A gifted colourist, her paintings are bold, rich and textured. Collectors respond to the contemporary style and the expressive way in which she paints. Her Florida landscapes and floral oils resonate with the scenes, colours and mood of her native Ireland.

Claire is dedicated to pursuing her painting career and has studied with contemporary American painters, notably the renowned Anne Packard and Cynthia Packard.

Described as a “painter’s painter”, Claire is attracting a local and international following. One to watch for lovers of art.
